Dear Mason

Dear Mason,

One day you’ll be older and want to live on your own. I hope you’ll remember how much I love you and that my life was forever changed the day you entered my world.

The day I found out I was having you, I knew nothing would be the same. I was quite nervous, anxious and scared. Would I have the ability to raise you? Would I have the skills to mold you into a good man? I had so many thoughts cross my mind.

The first time I felt you move it felt like butterflies. As you fluttered joy overwhelmed my heart. And every time you heard your daddy’s voice you would move in mommy’s tummy in excitement. We treasure those memories!

Now that you’re here, we’ve watched you grow. You’ve sat up, crawled, and stood up. I can’t even imagine you walking or talking to us. I’m so excited to experience all of the moments that are to come. I’m so privileged to be called your mother. I love you more than I could ever express, and I look forward to the day you’re able to say you love me.
